Through growth they are looking to add a Head of Technology with Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) experience to head up their team, reporting directly to the Group Managing Director.In this role you will provide sound technical leadership in all organisations within the small group of companies. You will pioneer and drive innovation by delivering and maintaining digital solutions in line with the 10-year strategy plan. Working in collaboration with the Board of Directors and wider management team, you will be responsible for leading a growing team.The ideal candidate will have at least at least 5 years experience leading technology for a digital driven organisation, a technology related Higher National Diploma or Degree and experience of strategic responsibility for a department.This is a fantastic opportunity to stamp your mark on a growing business and help to shape the future of the organisation.The role:*Identify and manage a technical strategy aligned with wider business goals - as set out the 10-year strategy plan.*Manage current architecture and future roadmaps to ensure competitive advantage in an ever-evolving technology driven market.*Lead effective project planning by empowering all Scrum Masters, Product Owners and the wider business to adhere to the group project management methodology of choice - SCRUM.*Manage the IT department KPIs and budgets to assess technological performance and ensure continual innovation.*Conduct all performance appraisals for senior members of the department, setting long and short-term goals in line with the wider department strategy.*Be responsible for the development and maintenance of safe, efficient and compliant technical solutions working in collaboration with the Group Head of Quality and Compliance. As Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) you will oversee the protection of company and customer data as well as the protection of infrastructure and assets from malicious activities.*Drive improvement in procedure and policies as well as ensuring effective and efficient use of technology across all departments within the group.The person:*Previous experience leading a department in Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), Head of Technology, Technology Director or IT Director roles*Project and Strategy Management,*The following is all beneficial; jQuery, Bootstrap, WordPress, Browser Stack, New Relic, Xcode/Android Studio, Server-side programming (.NET, ASP, PHP, Python).*Degree qualifiedReference Number: RTR96212 Required skills
