Job Description

Avocet Commercial Careers is working with a leading Governance expert who has a unique careeropportunity for a Graduate Trainee Analyst to join their existing team in Exeter. They are entrepreneurial and innovative, and able to offer rapid progressionand development to exceptional individuals. Supporting the Principle Technical Analyst you will be responsible for analysing and assessing risks within clients insurance contracts and documents.This is the perfect opportunity to take your first steps into a thriving career within the insurance sector. As a Trainee Analyst your role is centred around learning and developing the foundation technical skills you need to become a successful AnalystGraduate Trainee Analyst responsibilities include:

  • Organising and maintaining indexes and files
  • Producing Topic Guides in advance of calls
  • Note-taking on client calls
  • Preparing underlying wording reviews for review and comment by project leads
  • Updating client Risk Prospectuses
  • Completing document checks to ensure final policies match the quoted version
Graduate Trainee Analyst requirements:
  • Recently graduated or with 2 years of work experience
  • A high achiever (academically or work) seeking their next challenge
  • Highly organised with an exceptional eye for detail
  • Excellent communication skills, able to liaise with a range of stakeholders
  • Ambitious and career-focusedwith a desire to learn and progress within a technical and analyticalenvironment
