The JobAre you a detail-oriented finance professional with a flair for numbers Do you have experience in sales and purchase ledger and possess excellent knowledge of Sage If so, we have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Administrator to join this growing team in Exeter!Key Responsibilities:
  • Sales and Purchase Ledger, ensuring accuracy and timely payments
  • Utilising Sage 50 software for financial record-keeping and generating reports
  • Conducting bank reconciliations to maintain accurate accounts
  • Assisting with credit control, ensuring timely collection of payments
  • Processing timesheets and accurately calculating payroll
  • Supporting the Finance Manager with month-end and year-end procedures
  • Maintaining and monitoring financial databases and spreadsheets
Desired Skills and Experience:
  • Proven experience in sales and purchase ledger, with a keen eye for detail
  • Proficient in using Sage software, with knowledge of Sage 50 being highly beneficial
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies
  • Excellent organisation and time-management abilities to meet deadlines
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise with internal stakeholders and external suppliers
