Site EngineerAre you an experienced Site Engineer looking for a new challengeA fantastic opportunity has become available for a Site Engineer with experience based around window and door manufacturing to join a well-known Organisation. The role will be field based and cover the areas of Exeter and Plymouth. Working Hours - Monday to Friday (39 hours p/w)Pay - £28,000Contract - PermanentBenefits - Company car and mileage expensesTHE ROLEOur client is seeking to appoint a Site Engineer, primarily responsible for rectifying reported manufacturing defects out on site. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES*Re-hang doors, glaze windows, and rectify ironmongery defects and touch-up paint defects *Inspection of the companys products and completion of required reports for all work undertaken*You will be expected to operate with a total SAFETY FIRST mentality and a QUALITY getting it right first time every time mentalityYOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES*You will be required to set the standards for all remedial activities, role model behaviours in line with the companys standard of acceptance and in accordance with the companies values and expectations*Act as a company representative and ambassador for all inspections and manufacturing tasks out on site. with clients and keep them informed throughout the remedial workComplete planned work and organise your equipment efficiently to;*Ensure that all materials used are in accordance with the specifications*Ensure that work performed is in accordance with the specifications*Report any quality control and health and safety matters on site in line with company procedure- prepare reports as required*Resolve any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may ariseThe working week is usually 39 hours, but may include early starts or late finishes.
