Job Description

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform network survey and data collection in support of the enterprise GIS initiative and FTTX network design using GIS software, GPS equipment and other related tools.
  • Document, compile, convert and organize GIS data from maps, databases and other sources.
  • Conduct programmatic technical spatial analysis and data mining to support decision making.
  • Ensure data quality assurance and maintenance of standard operating procedures and policies .
  • Execute FTTx Designs, using knowledge of passive and active components and the business rules in order to support network build and expansions .
  • Create and manage network documents inclusive of As-built design drawings, BOM, SLDs and Splice matrix.
  • Utilize GIS and Network Management tools for the operation, and maintenance of FTTx and other telecommunication network components.
  • Provide training on the use of GIS related software, applications and documents as necessary.
  • Prepare maps, reports, and other relevant information to stakeholders.
