We’re looking for a Drug and Alcohol Worker to join our community team working in Exeter.Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, Drug and Alcohol Workers deliver an integrated service through the provision of comprehensive and ongoing assessment, recovery planning, appropriate referral/linkage and psychosocial interventions for substance misuse.Drug and Alcohol Worker Reference number: 75.20 Based: Exeter Hours: Full time, 35 hours per week Salary: £18,685 to £23,230 per annum depending on experience Contract: PermanentIn this role you’ll be responsible for working with and motivating service users to engage in the recovery programmes we offer in Devon, as well as become involved in the communities they live in. Day to day duties will involve delivering a range of interventions including key-working, strengths based assessment, and structured group and 1:1 work.
