Digital Rights Data Analyst

Job Description

LSEG is digitising the contractual rights and duties associated with third-party content provided by our suppliers. As a member of the new Digital Rights Data Quality team, the Digital Rights Analyst will be responsible for helping convert and qualitycheck the data associated with third-party supplier services into digital policy statements.Main Responsibilities

  • Create and update new Supplier Services records, using existing systems and legal documents to identify and populate data fields
  • Manage ongoing updates to Supplier Services in line with changes to third-party data licensing obligations
  • Identify areas of inconsistency in existing data records and work with the owners of the contract (Data Licensing Managers) to resolve any ambiguities
  • Work with Data Licensing Managers to validate the accuracy and completeness of data
  • Work with the Rights Management team when gaps or inconsistency in records are identified
  • Deliver quality control activities to ensure consistency between supplier services and other databases carrying information on data licensing requirements
  • Obtain sign-off for new and updated data records from key internal stakeholders
  • Provide feedback and requirements to the Digital Rights Management program to further develop and enhance the tools used to capture and manage the full complexity of rights and duties associated with supplier contracts
Knowledge & Skill :
  • Ability to work well as part of a team
  • Assimilate information quickly and effectively from business systems, contracts and other documentation
  • Work effectively with stakeholders, building close working relationships to elicit key information from them regarding interpretation of contracts and in identifying and resolving data quality issues
  • Attention to detail and ability to enter information accurately on to systems

  • Good working knowledge of Office 365
  • General familiarity of financial markets (preferred)
  • Familiarity with financial market and reference data (preferred)
