Data Scientist - £55K* This role can be based out of Exeter, Reading or Kent and remote options are available!*Company:A leading technology business at the forefront of innovation that delivers award winning solutions to its customersGraduate Calibre.At least 5 years of experience in a position in data science and analytics, at least 3 years of experience leading a team. Knowledge of data mining principles: predictive analytics, mapping, collecting data from multiple data systems on premises and cloud-based data sources. Understanding of and experience using analytical concepts and statistical modelling techniques to solve commercial data analysis. Strong problem solving, quantitative and analytical abilities. Strong ability to plan and manage numerous processes, people and projects simultaneously. Excellent communication, collaboration and delegation skills. Strong Leadership and Influencing skills; interacting with senior stakeholders.Strong programming skills (Python, Scala, R), and query languages: SQL, NoSQL, CYPHER.Experience with big data pipeline tools and environments: Hadoop, Kafka, Spark. Experience with Data Science tools: Databricks, TensorFlow/Keras, Jupyter notebooks. Cloud environments: AWS and Azure CI/CD and DevOps tools and environments: git, gitlab.com, Jenkins, unit testing frameworks.
