Job Description

Are you a confident and organised individual who is looking to continue to develop your career within an office environment My client, a successful and growing business based in Exeter is looking to recruit a bright, confident individual, to join theirteam. This will be a long-term temporary contract. This is a varied role in which you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, processing orders, account management, stock management and arranging logistics. Very much a team role, youwill enjoy a fast paced and busy environment in a friendly and fun team setting. In return our client offers a competitive salary in a fun team, with great company benefits. Flexible home working is available but you will be required to attend the office inExeter on occasion, so fully remote work is not an option.Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with commercial Account Manager to establish key customer requirements and manage related purchase and sale Contracts.
  • Liaise with internal departments to ensure the sale details are entered correctly into the system and accurately reflect customer requirements.
  • Deliver a consistently high standard of customer service, and always look for improvement.
  • Receive and process customer orders on time and accurately
  • Liaise with Sales, Purchasing and Stock Control to assess stock levels of standard items and allocate stock
  • Assist with physical stock audits, especially at end of financial year.
  • Use the operating system to input and maintain all records.
  • Switchboard cover (when in office or via remote working system) - take and transfer incoming calls.
  • Work as a proactive member of the Customer Service team, ensuring cover in all areas when required.
Requirements:
  • Strong background in customer service and administration
  • Knowledge and experience of sales processing.
  • Very good verbal and written communications skills.
  • Enthusiasm, drive and motivation to deliver excellent customer service.
  • Excellent listening skills.
  • Well organised and able to multi-task.
  • Keen to learn, with a can do, will do attitude.
  • Good Microsoft Office software knowledge (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
  • Willingness to identify and communicate process improvements
  • Experience using SAP and Lotus Notes desirable, though not essential
