Job Description

My client is looking for a talented and ambitious Civil Engineer to become an integral member of their successful team in Exeter.   • HNC or BEng or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering, construction or similar with extensive post qualification experience
  • competent with software such as PDS, Windes or Civil 3D
  • Woking knowledge in preparing drainage, residential development and highway designs
  • Experience with Sectional agreements for the Water Industry act and Highways Act ( S38, S278, S104, S106
  • Capable at working independently and within a team
  • Strong and effective communication skills (written, interpersonal and verbal)
  • Understanding of AutoCAD, knowledge of the control of coordinates and units and management of external references on the software
  • Good knowledge of design codes like manual for streets, sewers for adoption, Building Regulations
  • Proven track record in drainage modelling, residential site 3D design and production of ground modelling
The RoleWithin the exciting role you will help mentor and manage emergent team members, utilising your existing knowledge of working within a design office environment to help further their development, whilst also being proactive in your own. You will be liaisingwith clients and other professionals playing an essential part in highways and drainage design, scheme development and infrastructure design.Salary and Benefits
