An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced, enthusiastic and ambitious Civil Engineer / Engineering Technician, Infrastructure Engineer or more junior Civil Engineer, to be based at offices located in East Devon (with hybrid working).The appointment is for someone with broad experience in all types of infrastructure projects, including, residential, commercial, renewables, educational, leisure and coastal.You could be dealing with the design, construction and maintenance of a wide range of public works such as roads, bridges, airports, sewerage systems, pipelines, structural components of buildings, and railways.The role is predominantly infrastructure based, so experience with drainage and highways design is essential with a good knowledge of relevant sectional agreements, including, S38, S278 and S104.Our client has a diverse range of clients and projects, so where project demands require, you may work on other disciplines including civil and structural projects.You will have good technical ability in connection with the projects you are involved in, with reporting skills being beneficial. The ability to prepare Flood Risk Assessments will also be an advantage.You will be proficient in, but not reliant on, the use of various in-house design and detailing software including, AutoCAD, Civils 3D, and drainage design software (FLOW or similar).
