A highly reputable and successful accountancy practice is searching for a Bookkeeper to join their successful team, in a key role, bookkeeping and managing the provision of services to high volume client portfolio, preparing vat returns, payroll and providingother services to a mixed and varied client base. The firmoffers a very supportive and team focused environment, reflected by a low staff turnover and long serving staff within a close knit, long serving team.DescriptionJoining as Bookkeeper, based from their Exeter offices, you will carve a key, hands on role here, as you develop within this firm and environment. Acting for varied sole trader, partnership and limited company SMEs and OMBs of varying size and industrysector, you will deliver and manage the provision of bookkeeping to a high volume client portfolio. You will process payroll in addition, prepare and review VAT returns and be confident dealing directly with clients building relationships and providing a qualityservice. You will have the potential to carve a key role here working on Xero/Cloud accounting services. Clients are varied across restaurants, pubs, services, manufacturing and other industries ranging from under the VAT threshold in turnover, up into the£millions of turnover on larger clients.ProfileYou may be AAT studying, or hold an AAT qualification but if supported by a relevant career history and technical skill set, a strong, relevant, experienced background only, is equally of interest. You will have anything from 2 - 3 years, or significantlymore experience within accountancy practice, or perhaps be a self-employed senior bookkeeper seeking the stability of a permanent employed position, carving a role within this team of professionals, carrying out bookkeeping services for a wide ranging clientbase. As well as providing a quality bookkeeping service, the team advise on Xero and Cloud accounting software and you will have Xero knowledge and experience and be looking to develop and utilise this experience further, as a key addition to this growingand successful division within the firm.Job OfferCirca £25,000 - £28,000 plus benefits, dependent on experience and background.
