The Department is looking to recruita highly motivated and enthusiastic HCPC registered Biomedical Scientist in histology.The Cellular Pathology laboratory is accredited in accordance with the recognised International Standard ISO 15189:2012 and participates in all relevant External Quality Assurance Schemes. The laboratory is fully computerised and the repertoire includes routine histology, large blocks, biomedical scientist and dissection practitioner specimen dissection, immunofluorescence on renal and skin biopsies, a variety of special stains and a busy immunohistochemistry section. The department has a progressive innovative outlook and is registered with the IBMS for post registration training and encourages personal and professional development.
