Job Description

An ambitious AAT qualified or part-qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA) with a proven track record in practice is needed to join a highly successful and well-regarded multi-site accountancy practice in their stunning Exeter office as an Accounts and Audit Senior.With a supportive management team, superb staff retention and clear career progression, it is an exciting time to join a friendly professional firm focused on providing high-quality advice to businesses and individuals.As an Audit and Accounts Senior, reporting to the management team, you will be responsible for a undertaking work on a varied portfolio of clients, with the opportunity to focus on accounting, taxation and/or audit work to suit your preferences.Responsibilities will include:

  • Undertaking accounts preparation and tax computations for a variety of clients across multiple industries.
  • Participating in audit assignments in the local area.
  • Liaising with clients and attending client meetings.
  • Supporting and guiding less experienced staff.
  • Assisting the management team as needed with more complex accounting and audit work.
