Job Description

A field sales role promoting an industry leading range of lintels and structural building materials. Account managing the relationship with a network of builders merchants, whilst tracking projects with contractors, regional house builders and local developers.Package: Competitive basic salary with £10k OTE, car, laptop and mobileTerritory: Cornwall, Devon, Somerset, Dorset & HampshireSelling: Lintels, masonry support and structural building materials Customers: Builders merchants, specialist distributors, contractors, regional house builders & local developersTHE ROLE - Area Sales Manager:

  • A field based territory sales role, promoting my clients industry leading range of lintels and masonry support products
  • Account managing and developing the relationship with an established network of builders merchants and specialist distributors
  • Whilst also tracking and winning projects with contractors, regional house builders and local developers
  • With all projects back-sold through your distribution network
  • Working alongside colleagues in other divisions, and a first class technical support team that will assist you with drawings, plans, admin and lead generation
THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT:
  • Will be a field sales professional with a consultative and structured approach to solution selling
  • You are likely to be working within the construction industry and looking to progress your career
  • Equally though you could be field sales within another business-to-business sector, with transferable skills
  • Either way you will be equally as comfortable developing existing relationships, as you are identifying and winning new business
  • Whilst possessing first class presentation and communication skills, and be looking for a career and not just a job!
