Job Description

Role: Accounts Executive Salary: £26,000 - £35,000 Location: Exeter Overview:Quinton Davies is working on behalf of a large regional accountancy practice based in the South West who are looking for a part, nearly or newly nearly qualified Accounts Executive for their Exeter office.This is a genuinely great opportunity for an ambitious accounting professional looking to advance their career, as there is an abundance of progression and further development on offer. Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of management and financial accounts
  • Production of VAT and Corporate Tax returns
  • Identifying and delivering advisory services that may benefit clients. This may include areas such as cloud accounting and systems support, Making Tax Digital as well as corporate and personal tax planning
  • Participating in business development activities such as being part of our sector specific funnel groups
  • Coaching and developing junior members of the team
Experience / Qualifications Required:
  • ACA/ACCA part, nearly or newly qualified (or equivalent)
  • Accounts preparation experience gained from within a fast-paced accountancy practice environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills that enable you to build rapport with people at various levels
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to work well under pressure
