Job Description

Employer description:The company is a leading supplier of case management software for leading law firms. They deliver a Cloud Hosted system that had been adopted by many major law firms in both the UK and Internationally.They have been delivering their services since the 1970s and are ahead of the market and have recently updated their product and added multi-currency and multi-entity functionality.Overview:We are now looking for an eager candidate to join us as an apprentice.You will have the opportunity to gain valuable skills, knowledge and experience as you complete a Level 3 IT Azure Cloud Support Specialist Apprenticeship.Duties:

  • Resolve user IT queries rapidly to reduce the impact on the client and identify when escalation is required.
  • Work with, users, clients, 3rd parties and other departments to ensure delivery of solution is correctly met and within agreed timescales.
  • Maintain effective communication with all parties using the Helpdesk system, Telephone, Microsoft Teams and Email
  • Investigate issues to determine the cause and apply corrective measures or escalate accordingly.
  • Adhere to and follow escalation process through to completion and the issue is resolved
  • Regularly provide feedback to the IT Manager.
  • Participate in meetings.

  • Knowledge of SQL, Word (including templates), Excel and Outlook functionality would be preferred.

Entry requirements:The entry requirements for this Azure Cloud Support Specialist programme are as follows:
  • 3 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject
  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)
  • Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship is in a similar subject
You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.Find out more here: https://Qualifications/UKQRS/Default.aspxSalary:£12,500 per annum.Future prospects:The company currently have an IT Apprentice who will shortly complete his apprenticeship and has been offered a fulltime permanent position in the business on completion.You will also be offered this opportunity if you successfully complete your apprenticeship with the opportunity to develop in your role with more responsibilities, further support and training and an enhanced salary and benefits package.Important Information:QAs apprenticeships are funded by the Education & Skills Funding Agency (ESFA), an executive agency of the Department for Education.To be eligible for a Government funded apprenticeship you must have lived in the UK or European Economic Area (EEA) for the last 3 consecutive years.
