Role - Underwriting Quality Control AssessorLocation - RemoteSalary - NegotiableWe are looking for an Underwriting Quality Control Assessor for a leading national insurance broker. This position offers the flexibility of a fully remote working environment.**About the Client**- Respected independent insurance broker with a robust market presence- Specialises in providing bespoke commercial and motor insurance solutions- Committed to delivering exceptional client service- Employs a client-centric approach, tailoring services to individual needs- Strong focus on nurturing long-term client relationships**Role Responsibilities:**- Uphold all organisational policies and procedures with the utmost integrity.- Proactively seek out and suggest improvements to streamline operations and reduce expenses.- Champion the delivery of superior outcomes for customers, ensuring their needs are placed at the forefront.- Conduct thorough Quality Control (QC) reviews in line with the Quality Control Program (QCP) and established standards, including individual audits and Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) assessments.- Execute file reviews in accordance with underwriting or claims guidelines.- Undertake desk assessments to verify pricing accuracy, documentation, and compliance with QCP directives.- Perform pre-issuance QC reviews on selected files to ensure meticulousness prior to finalisation.- Analyse policy documents to confirm the issuance of suitable policies that align with client requirements.- Review files to guarantee adherence to delegated authority, Service Level Agreements, and other relevant criteria.- Conduct call reviews to ensure comprehensive and compliant customer communication.- Support the Head of QC in the development and upkeep of annual QCPs, including the presentation of findings and recommendations to Senior Management and stakeholders.- Provide feedback and collaborate on quality-related matters with Underwriting line managers, including trend analysis and solution development.**Skills & Experience Required:**- Demonstrable experience in underwriting and quality control within the insurance sector.- Adept at conducting detailed audits and reviews with a keen eye for accuracy.- Strong analytical skills to perform root cause analysis and problem-solving.- Excellent communication abilities to provide clear feedback and reports.- Proficiency in adhering to regulatory requirements and internal standards.**Key Benefits:**- Work from the comfort of your home, anywhere in the nation.- Join an in-house underwriting team at a reputable insurance broker.- Contribute to the enhancement of service quality and cost-efficiency.- Engage in a role that prioritises customer satisfaction and transparency.- Receive support for professional development and career progression.For more information contact: Dan Falcini&nb
