Job Description

IT Service Desk | Helpdesk |Hardware | software | Applications | Mobile | Support | O365 | MDM | Intune | Server | Cisco | Permanent | JobIT Service Desk Analyst required to join an established organisation on a large period of growth based is Essex.The IT Service Desk Analyst will be the first point of contact providing first-level technical support to approx 6000 users at all levels by diagnosing, documenting, reporting and resolving or correcting hardware and software problems.The Service Desk is the face of IT within the business and resolves around 80% of Incidents/Requests that are generated.Skills required:

  • At least 2+ years working experience of first line support and use of enterprise wide IT Service Management system
  • At least 2+ years hands on working experience of imaging and building laptops and desktops
  • At least 2+ years hands on working experience of building mobile devices (phones and tablets) using a Mobile Device Management tool (InTune would be an advantage)
  • An excellent knowledge of IT hardware and software used by customers (Office 365, Windows Server and Cisco networks an advantage)
  • Ability to clearly articulate verbal and written requirements between customers and technical resources
  • Experience in application support of an ERP system (SAP ECC would be an advantage) and knowledge of supporting a Timesheet Management System preferred
  • Strong troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to learn new technologies
  • Experience of working to and exceeding targets
Desirable
  • Working knowledge of GDPR, ISO270001, BCP, compliance and audit requirements Preferred
  • Working experience creating Knowledge Bases
  • Part of the team responsible for the implementation and successful delivery of an IT Service Management System
