Job Description

SENIOR ELECTRICAL DESIGN ENGINEERExcellent new opportunity for an experienced Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join a reputable firm of consulting engineers, on a 3 month remote contract basis.As the selected Senior Electrical Design Engineer, you will be providing full time specification writing support based on concept drawings and will be responsible for delivering high quality electrical designs.Essential skills, experience and attributes:

  • Significant proven experience within a similar role
  • Extensive hands on experience with NBS and Amtech software is compulsory
  • Proficient in building services standards and CIBSE lighting guides
  • Dialux or Relux lighting design software experience
  • Data Centre, Residential or Pharmaceutical experience is beneficial
  • Strong understanding of relevant design software
  • Experience creating calculation models by importing cad drawings and Revit models for general/emergency and interior/exterior scenes
  • Commissioning and witness testing
  • Excellent technical knowledge
  • Strong leadership and mentoring abilities
  • Exceptional communication skills for liaising with internal and external stakeholders
  • Good understanding of relevant legislation and codes of practice
