Job Description

Develop artworks to support European Regulatory applications (MRP, DCP, CP and Nationals)Develop print ready artworks to support all aspects of the product life cycle (preapproval and post approval)Client DetailsI have partnered with a global pharmaceutical company to help them recruit a number of people into there Regulatory Affairs Team. A well known global pharmaceutical leader who have a vast portfolio of products spanning across Chemical enties, Generics, Devices, Biosimilars and OTC products. Due to continued success we are looking for a Regulatory Artworker to join the team.DescriptionDevelop artworks to support European Regulatory applications (MRP, DCP, CP and Nationals)Develop print ready artworks to support all aspects of the product life cycle (preapproval and post approval)

  • Develop all types artwork component using the appropriate hardware and software
  • Update as required any existing artwork in line with instructions given from Artwork Planner
  • Ensure artworks are built correctly and are technically correct, if there is issue that with the look or the regulatory compliance of the artwork, inform appropriate Artwork Planner about the issue.
  • Create artwork right first time
  • Ensure that artworks comply with all relevant artwork and brand guidelines
  • Ensure that artworks comply with internal quality standards
  • Wherever possible ensure artworks comply with readability guidelines
  • QC your own artworks before circulating for internal approval
  • Save artworks to the appropriate folders
  • Maintain the best practice guides for artwork creation
  • Check and set up supplied cutter guides as required
  • Manage your time effectively to make best use of your time
  • Ensure you adhere to all processes and SOPs
  • Use your experience and knowledge to identify and resolve design, artwork and print challenges
  • Look for continuous improvement opportunities within the department with the view to implement standardisation on the creation of artwork to reduce errors and lead times
  • Advise if cutter guides comply with quality standards or if new cutter guides need to be requested
  • Be aware of the latest industry standards, trends and keep up to date with personal skills and knowledge of software packages
    • ProfileRegulatory Artworker
  • Preferred minimum of three years experience as an Artworker, preferably in pharmaceutical packaging.
  • In-depth knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite software packages InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat and Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Skilled in use of Apple Macintosh systems and applications, Adobe (Illustrator, Indesign) and applications such as Outlook and Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of print and reprographic processes.
  • Knowledge of maintaining computer hardware would be an advantage
  • Typographic knowledge.
  • Understanding of artwork specification requirements for print processes
  • Understanding of packaging print processes and materials
  • Understanding of print production tools
  • Able to transfer written requests into artwork
  • Eye for detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
