Job Title: Quality Assurance SupervisorLocation: EssexSalary: up to £30k per annumWorking Week: Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm (40 hours per week)The role of QA Supervisor is to manage the day-to-day quality management system within a food factory environment.Job Description× As Quality Supervisor, you will foster great team work between the Production and Quality teams of the organisation, supporting the business as a whole.× Ensure that information relating to key quality/food safety aspects is available through the provision of relevant and accurate information.× Have overall responsibility for BRCv8 and managing HACCP on the site.× Ensure that QMS procedures for the organisation are embedded within all areas of the business.× Ensure compliance on Covid 19 and hygiene standards.× Ensure that the factory follows specifications to produce good quality products that meet the specifications.× Ensure all specifications are up to date and legally compliant.× Monitor the quality of the factory’s production against defined standards.× Review, define and monitor cleaning systems and standards.× Full job description available when you apply directly for this roleQA Supervisor Skills/Experience:× Knowledge of the manufacturing pastry products in a low and medium risk environment.× Must have Experience of managing BRCv8.× Experience in the review and improvement of a HACCP and Quality Management system.× Qualified HACCP Level 3.× An excellent team player showing maturity in dealing with a manufacturing and production environment, and the issues relevant to food safety.× Must have excellent people management skills and ability to deliver against objectives in a timely manner in a high pressure environment.× Ideally educated to degree level in a food related discipline.× Knowledge of manufacturing flour based products.ContactCall or email Sam Stewart at HancoxRead Recruitment today to discuss your CV in detail.
