Job Description

Print Finisher Rewinder - LabelsLocation; EssexSalary; £20-£26k (Negotiable depending on experience)Hours; Night shift - 6pm-6am Monday-ThursdayBenefits;28 days holiday per year (bank holidays inclusive & 4 days for Christmas shutdown).Auto enrolment in Company pension scheme and Company bonus scheme (can opt out).Overview: Operating finishing machine to convert materials to finished goods. You will be required to set up, operate, monitor, and maintain rewinding equipment. Handle rolls of labels as they come off the rewinder. Pack label rolls into boxes and stack on pallets.Company; This is to work for one of the UKs leading label manufacturers in the UK with 20 years experience within the industry. They custom make labels for the; food, drinks, chemical, retail, trade industries.Role:· Operating finishing machines to rewind semi-finished goods to finished reels.· Good eye for detail required to inspect quality of labels and produce jobs to the instructions provided.· Strong IT skills required to operate using management information system.· Ad hoc tasks: packing and other finishing tasks.· Job may also require assisting in other areas of production.Requirements:

  • Have experience of print finishing
  • Preferably have experience of label finishing
  • Preferably have experience of Rewinding or Slitting machinery
  • Ability to meet physical demands of the job
  • KPIs will be based on;
    • Job times: Actual time to complete the job vs. estimated times - expect +/-10%OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) - manufacturing good quality product efficiently (internal calculations used to monitor).Non conformances: number of non conformances on jobs - expect none.TO APPLY please email your full CV details to us and we will be in touch.
