Job Description

Principal Analogue IC Design EngineerEssex - £75,000 - £95,000 paAn electronics manufacturer is looking for a Principal Analogue IC Design Engineer to join their ASIC & IC Design team in Essex. You will be working alongside a small team of other ASIC & IC Designers, Electronics & Software Engineers developing their nextgeneration products used in a variety of industries. They offer flexible remote working and a 15% bonus.Sponsorship & relocation is on offer for the right candidate.Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute specialist IC guidance & design input
  • Collaborate with the global engineering team to agree optimal IC architectures
  • Create robust circuit solutions & schematic capture designs
  • Optimise circuit designs
  • Generate clear reference design documentation
Key Skills/Experience:
  • Degree in electronics
  • Proven experience in developing analogue & mixed signal IC designs
  • Cadence design tool for schematic capture, simulation & layout
  • Analogue circuit design in CMOS & Bi-CMOS technologies
  • Transistor level circuitry, operating voltages, noise & stability etc.
  • General bipolar circuitry & design
Non-essential/Nice to have:
  • Low power DC-DC HF converters
  • Ultra-low phase noise, high stability oscillators
  • Low noise bipolar op-amps
