Job Description

Umbrella £16.00 to £18.00Our client is a large private ambulance provider and with an extensive quota of shifts both day and night are available we are urgently looking for a number of Patient Transport/ Student Paramedics to work with this client.The role will require you to do the following:

  • Transporting patients to and from hospital appointments. Adults with and without Challenging Behaviour.
  • Moving and lifting patients
  • Being friendly and engaging with patients who may be nervous about appointments.
  • Keeping accurate record of journey times
  • Bed Watching in a hospital setting
  • Cleaning down the vehicle and equipment after every patient transfer
It is essential you have:
  • PVMA Training
  • FREC 3 / First Aid at work certificate
  • Moving and handling certificate
  • Medical gasses training such as oxygen therapy
  • Able to meet stringent pre-employment checks including, satisfactory references, enhanced DBS checks
