Job Description

Success Recruit are currently working with a family-run manufacturing company in Central Essex who are seeking to recruit an Office Assistant to join their expanding team.The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills whilst delivering high levels of customer service when liaising with all customers.The successful Office Assistant will be expected to:

  • Demonstrate working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
  • Be able to work under pressure and to deadlines
  • Show the ability of multitasking tasks

  • Job DescriptionThe Office Assistant will be responsible for the day to day operations within the office ensuring all colleagues are provided with general administrative support.Duties to include but not limited to:
  • Acting as first point of contact for incoming calls, handling with customer queries and transferring to correct department
  • Arranging meetings and appointments
  • Organising travel arrangements for senior staff members
  • Taking minutes, typing letters, reports and other correspondence
  • Taking and allocating sales orders onto the system
  • Keeping customers up to date with regards to their orders
  • Following up with customers relating to previous orders
