As part of the management team, you will work with colleagues and senior leaders to lead your team and achieve CQC outstanding.So what is the roleAs a Nurse Manager you will have managerial and operational responsibility for your ward and will ensure mechanisms are in place to support, develop and monitor all aspects of performance. You will be key to ensuring the delivery of operational excellenceand pivotal to the delivery of high levels of nursing and care by providing day-to-day support and operational leadership. You will proactively monitor standards and lead innovative processes to improve quality and the operational management of your ward.As a positive and strong leader, you will set a clear and compelling vision for your team, you will be a visible presence who influences and supports consistently great teamwork and a positive culture. You will lead by example and motivate your teams toprovide exceptional levels of care to your patients. We care for men and women aged 18 years and over with complex mental health needs in a low-security and locked environment.We want to encourage mental health self-management and prepare each individual to live safely and confidently on their own. Our excellent local links enable involvement in community-based activities, including voluntary placements, as part of their recovery.Service users are encouraged to take part in adult education programs or vocational opportunities, including work experience.
