Job Title: Legionella Risk Assessor Location: EssexSalary / Pay Rate: £ 30,015- £ 35,190Job Type: Permanent Full TimeThe Role:*To undertake legionella risk assessments to a high standard in line with the latest version of the Approved Code of Practice (ACOP) L8 (Fourth edition) and its associated technical guidance documents of HSG274 and the British standard code of practice forRisk assessing, BS8580-1 2019. Also, the Health Technical Memorandum 04-01: Safe Water in Healthcare Premises as necessary*Carrying out legionella risk assessments predominantly using an electronic app based system but also manually as required*Producing schematic diagrams using Microsoft Visio*Provide technical support where required.*Ensure that Legionella Risk Assessments paperwork and reports are completed correctly and returned within agreed timescales.*Where required, attend risk assessment review meetings with Clients.The Company:We currently have an exciting opportunity to work for the largest employer in Facilities Management in the UK, delivering a superior service to a broad range of public and private sector companies. With a great ambition to be a leader in customer experience,digital transformation of the industry, a great employer and in financial performance they are definitely leading the way in the business.The Candidate:* Experience in Legionella risk assessing.* City and Guilds Legionella Risk Assessment Qualification (or equivalent) would be beneficial* Wide Knowledge of the Approved Code of Practice (ACOP) L8 (Fourth edition) and its associated technical guidance documents of HSG274.* Wide knowledge of the British standard code of practice for risk assessing, BS8580-1 2019.* Knowledge of the Health Technical Memorandum 04-01: Safe Water in Healthcare Premises (desirable but not essential)* Knowledge of cooling towers, process systems and other systems (desirable but not essential)* Suitable and sufficient experience working within the water treatment industry.* Health and safety management* Commercial awareness* Planning skills* Customer care/relationship building skills.* Presentation skills* Computer/PDA skills, in particular with word and excel.* Drawing of schematic diagrams* Able to work as a member of a team.* Able to work without direct supervision.* Physically able to complete required duties.* Be flexible in approach as necessary for business needs.* Be willing to travel outside of own region as necessary for business needs.* Be willing to perform overnight stays away from home as necessary to business needs.* Have excellent attention to detail skills* Possess a "Right First Time Attitude"* Held a Full driving licence for a minimum of 12 months, with no driving bans in the past 5 years and no more than 6 points current or pending.The Benefits:Further training to develop current skill set, Pension, Life Assurance, Use of company vehicle for personal use, Employee Shares Schemes, Reward programme & Employee Assistance programme along with many other benefits & employee discounts.How to apply:Please submit your application via the contact details provided and you will be contacted with further information about this opportunity.
