Your role with usThe aim of the Estates & Facilities team is to provide a client focused, effective and efficient management service with full accountability for the comprehensive delivery of safe and compliant, high quality services in accordance with mutually agreed standards.It supports the mission of St Andrews Healthcare by consistently seeking to add value and ensure that St Andrews is provided with consistently high standards of accommodation and facilities services delivered in the most cost effective way.The Lead Engineering Technician will be expected to ensure that all planned preventative maintenance and reactive tasks are carried out in a timely manner and all necessary supporting documentation is maintained. You will be expected to be proactive in problemidentification and solving, and to be flexible in work carried out calling on the support of the Estates Team as necessary.You will manage all specialist contractors including programme monitoring, report collation and arranging for all necessary follow-up work including arranging for quotations, obtaining financial approval and arranging access/down time & monitoring workprogress using MiCAD and manage building environments using the TREND BMS.You will be expected to participate in the on-call duty team roster.Your profileYou will have demonstrable and proven experience of working hands on in Mechanical/Engineering /Electrical maintenance environment and display good levels of interpersonal, leadership, communication and time management skills with an ability to work underpressure to meet strictdeadlines.You will have:City & Guilds 6123-3 NVQ Heating & VentilationCity & guilds 6129 Certificate in Basic PlumbingCity & guilds 2380 17th edition IEE wiringFull electrical trade qualificationsBSC level1 health and SafetyBTEC HNC/HND Qualified (mechanical engineering) / City and Guilds mechanical engineering maintenance /NVQ diploma in heating & ventilation, NEBOSH/IOSH qualifications & experience of working in the healthcare sector would be desirable.Rewards:We offer an excellent benefits package including: Pension Sickness policy on par with the NHS 35 days annual leave, increasing to 41 after 10 years service Car lease scheme Cycle to work scheme Healthcare cash plan Free parking Paid DBS applicationClosing date Sunday 4th July
