Job Description

An amazing opportunity to join an expanding construction company who are experiencing huge growth for 2021 and beyond!To strengthen the team, they are looking to recruit an experienced Infrastructure Team Leader to oversea the systems team.This is a hands-on role, providing 3rd line technical for the servers, LAN, WAN and network security systems, including management of hubs, switches, routers and firewalls.What youll be doing

  • Providing guidance and technical direction for the systems team
  • Planning and organising workload
  • Managing of projects ranging from BAU to significant changes to infrastructure
  • Forecast any IT improvements in systems and network
  • Hands on - configuration, design, installation of network, servers etc.
    • What youll need
  • Experience of team leadership and strong team management skills
  • Strong working knowledge of -
  • Network management practices and procedures
  • Implementing and managing Windows Server OS
  • Implementing and managing Messaging environments
  • Implementing and managing virtualisation technologies including VMware ESX
  • Cloud based services - Azure, AWS and Google Cloud
  • IT Service management frameworks - in particular ITIL
  • Full driving license (essential)
