Job Description

Are you an accomplished Quality Assurance Professional Do you have excellent knowledge of GLP Are you looking for a new challenge with a well established and highly regarded organisationA well-established leading provider of scientific services to the Agrochemical and Biocides industries are looking for a Head of QA. The projects and studies undertaken by the company include those related to Risk Assessment, Regulatory Affairs, Toxicology, Analysis, Formulation and Environmental Fate.As the Head of QA, based at a site in the south east, you will hold direct responsibility for Quality Assurance across the company’s UK sites, ensuring an appropriate Quality Management System is utilised, appropriately maintained and improved. Your knowledge and understanding of relevant Regulations, Legislation and Standards will ensure appropriate quality process are in place.Main Responsibilities

  • Leadership and Management of the QA Team.
  • Oversight of maintenance and development of appropriate Quality policies and procedures.
  • Perform internal inspections and audits to ensure compliance to all standards and regulations including GLP and SOPs.
  • Liaise with Regulatory bodies
  • Provide strategic leadership for the Quality Assurance Department
    • Requirements
  • Qualified in a relevant Scientific discipline.
  • Significant experience in Quality Assurance, including experience in Technical writing.
  • Experience in a relevant industry such as Agrochemicals, Pesticides or Biopharmaceuticals.
  • Excellent GLP Knowledge essential.
