Job Description

GIS TechnicianBrief OverviewWould you be interested in working with a public sector authority in LondonTriad Group Plc has an initial 3-month contract that may transfer to a permanent position later down the line for the right candidate. We are seeking an experienced GIS Technician who can help support several departments across the authority with the production of maps and plans.The position will be home-based, and a complete kit will be provided.Responsibilities

  • Working within the IT team to provide technical GIS support and responses to requests.
  • Map production and cartographic work.
  • Production of plans.
  • Updating of maps.
  • Providing some advice to the team about their GIS set up.
    • Skills required
  • Experience of working with ESRI and ArcGIS.
  • Experience of producing detailed cartographic outputs.
  • Digitisation and data capture.
