This is home to the European Powertrain Research and Development Centre. Due to their continued growth they are seeking a Dash Senior Engineer to join their Interior Engineering team on a long-term rolling contract based in Essex.Dash Senior Engineer role will be covering Dash/Cowl, Front Floor, Cockpit, Wiring, Electrical Modules, Steering Column, Pedal Box, EBB, Dash Insulators, Interface of the Dash with Under hood Components, Safety, NVH, Durability, Corrosion as well as analyse complex systems for performance, cost and weight. As the Dash Systems Optimisation Engineer you will develop benchmarks for multifunctional systems, which includes true cost, weight and functional attributes. Work with the cross-functional teams to cascade realistic and true targets to deliver quality and value to the customer and company. Develop innovative cross-functional solutions that deliver the vehicle targets for cost, weight and performance and meet the customer needs and expectations. Drive trade-off discussions in Systems Engineering Reviews. Evaluate compatibility/feasibility of proposed solutions.Skills Required:
