Job Description

Our client, a leading player in the Media & Data sector require an experienced Credit Control Manager to manage the team at their offices in Essex. It is an exciting time to join this business as they experience phenomenal growth, giving you opportunityto play a key role.With either B2B or B2B experience you will have experience in an international business and be comfortable with FX and multi country transactions.The role

  • Manage the team by coordinating workloads, coaching and setting, reporting KPIs, whilst maintaining team morale
  • Development of processes alongside new systems to centrally manage credit control functions
  • Ensure the timely recovery of overdue and any legal action as necessary.
  • Calculation of the Commercial provision and presentation to senior management.
  • Maximise revenue opportunities whilst minimising the risk of bad debt
  • Deliver cash collection v targets
  • Review ledgers
  • Communicate with other department heads, managers and teams
  • Manage the timely collection of payments from all customers and the end-to-end activities to recover any overdue debt
  • Be accountable for the debt collection systems
  • Monitor high-risk accounts and act where necessary
  • Develop and motivate the team
What youll need
  • Previous experience of managing a Credit Control department
  • Preferably CICM qualified
  • Strong MS Office skills including Excel
  • Experience working with multi country, multi product VAT, FX and Withholding Tax
  • Excellent team management skills
  • Strong communication skills
