Job Description

BDM/Sales Consultant - Essex - £25k/£30k Basic (£55k/£60k OTE)Our client who are based in Essex are focused on installing great solutions not just for overall security for your home or business, but to help save you or your business time and money. They provide security systems like full HD CCTV cameras and burglaralarms for residential and commercial properties and have an exciting opportunity for a BDM/Sales Consultant to join their growing business.Main Duties;

  • Contacting new & existing customers to sell a variety of CCTV, burglar alarms and Fire Alarm systems
  • Cold Calling, warm calling, following up leads, quotations etc.
  • Dealing with internal enquiries via phone and email
  • B2B Sales - selling solutions into businesses
  • Targeting the contract market
  • Lead Generation & Market Mapping
The ideal candidate;
  • A real "go-getter"
  • Relevant Sales Experience within the industry
  • Good understanding of Intruder, Access Control, Paxton and CCTV
  • Knowledge/understanding of the requirements of SSAIB or NSI approved retailers
  • Good knowledge of the Essex and Surround areas - Ideally based within 10/15 miles of Canvey Island
  • Ability to close/convert sales leads
  • Security Biased however Fire experience would be highly advantageous
Locations you will be covering include: Canvey Island, Basildon, Benfleet, Hadleigh, Leigh-on-sea, Westcliff, Southend-on-sea, Wickford, Chelmsford, Chalkwell, Shoeburyness, Billericay, Brentwood, Rayleigh, Rochford, Corringham, Romford,and Ramsden.What you will receive;
  • Basic salary of between £25-£30k dependant on experience
  • Realistic targets with an OTE of around £55k-£60k per annum
