Job Description

Asbestos Project AdministratorUp to £28,000 + Benefits Thurrock, Essex We are seeking a highly organised and detail orientated Asbestos Project Administrator to join one of the UKs leading Asbestos Management Consultancies. With UKAS accreditation and over 20 years trading experience, our client has built a well-respectedname within the industry and are dedicated in providing excellent asbestos management services to large portfolio of clients in the public and private sectors.As an Asbestos Projects Assistant, you will:

  • Work closely with the Project Manager to facilitate the smooth delivery of asbestos management projects
  • Assist with the preparation of accurate and timely project quotations
  • Produce comprehensive project work instructions, including Risk Assessments, and Method Statements (RAMS
  • Maintain and update databases, ensuring accurate ad up-to-date project information is readily available
  • Support the Project Manager in coordinating project logistics, including scheduling, resource allocation and procurement
  • Liaise with clients to understand their requirements and ensure that the project deliverables meet their expectations
  • Provide general administrative support to the project manager and project team as needed
The successful Asbestos Project Administrator will possess:
  • Previous experience working in an Asbestos Admin/Co-ordinator role within asbestos industry
  • Proficiency using TEAMS (or similar) software
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, team members and sub-contractors
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and work efficiently in fast-paced environments
  • Strong IT skills, including experience with database management and Microsoft Office Suit
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
  • A proactive and adaptable approach to problem solving
