Warehouse Operations ManagerErith, Thamesmead£40,000 to £50,000 DOE + Holidays + Bank Holidays + Pension + Life Assurance + Extensive Benefits SchemesMonday to FridayWarehouse Operations Manager required for a well established company who are market leading within their industry. They operate from a number of depots across the UK and supply a wide range of premium products/brands to a number of retailers and organisations.This is a senior management position within a brand associated with quality, they offer a role with scope to make improvements on site.The role would suit, warehouse departmental managers, operations managers from a warehouse/supply chain or logistics background. You must have experience of overseeing the operations of a warehouse function on a day to day basis. Applicants from FMCG distributionbackground will have a considerable advantage. The successful candidate will ideally have previous experience of budget controls and P&L analysis.Reporting to Warehouse General Manager, you will ultimately be responsible for the day to day warehouse function. You will have 10 direct reports and up to 130 indirect reports at peak times. Your role will involve liaising with Warehouse Team Managers toensure that output targets are met through optimum people management/labour allocation. You will be KPI focused and monitor these on a day to day basis to adjust daily plans accordingly. You will be responsible for budget control and cost analysis, you willpresent CI initiatives to address overall cost base/service offering improvements. Health & Safety will be at the forefront of your role and it will be your responsibility to ensure a safe working environment for your team.
