About the roleWe are recruiting for Operations Clerks within our Warehouse Team. In the role, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the administration of your department is completed as well as supporting the department with any operational activities as required. Therewill also be times when you will need to support the Warehouse team.You’ll work closely with the Senior Operations Clerks, Team Managers to ensure that all paperwork within your team is completed accurately & goods within the warehouse function are received properly. The successful candidate will be an advocate for Health &Safety and ensure that allWarehouse Operatives are communicated to with relevant information, and support with equipment queriesRole ResponsibilityCompletethe clerical functions necessary to keep physical warehouse activity running smoothlyMonitoring of pick and replenishment control screens for Ambient, Tobacco and FrozenInvestigating of back pics, suspended pics and replenishmentsDealing with Proof of Delivery PaperworkDealing with Drivers and receipt paperworkReleasing orders for checkingLiaise with goods in checkers and supply chainReport dangerous stacking, racking damage, obstructions and any other danger or irregularities immediately to a managerAssist in the counting of stock as requiredAssist in the issue of any paperwork, documentation as requiredUndergo any training when required by the CompanyAny other duties as and when necessary to meet the varying demands of the businessYou will needNumeracy and literacyExperience within warehouse chambers would be advantageousFlexible and versatileAble to produce quality standard of workGood PC and organisational skillsAbility to work under pressureWhats in it for youAt Booker, along with being a great place to work and giving you an opportunity to get on in your career, we also offer the following fantastic package of benefits:
