Job Description

Daytime Healthcare are working with a new start up Childrens Residential Home in London! This is a great opportunity to join a growing and friendly Childrens Residential setting, that will offer progression opportunities!This is a great opportunity for energetic and creative candidates to be part of the creation of a new service. The Senior Leadership team will provide ongoing support and will work collaboratively with the Registered Manager to achieve the best outcomesfor the children, staff and company.As a Registered Manager you will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations and ensuring the highest quality of care and support.Job Duties and Responsibilites:

  • Working closely with the leadership team to drive successful registration with
Ofsted including significant input into recruitment, systems, and policies & procedures.
  • Manage and oversee daily operations of the home.
  • Provide leadership and supervision to your team.
  • Develop and implement high quality care plans and risk assessments to keep our children safe and happy.
  • Ensure compliance with Ofsted and Local Authority requirements.
Skills:
  • Strong leadership abilities to effectively manage a team.
  • Excellent organisational skills to oversee daily operations and ensure smooth functioning of the home.
  • Knowledge of Ofsted regulations and safeguarding procedures.
  • Ability to supervise and train staff members, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Passion and commitment to making a positive difference to the lives of young people.
  • Resilient and strong communicator.
  • Proactive approach with ideas for continual improvements in all areas.
Qualifications:
  • Level 5 in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (England) or equivalent or a full commitment to complete the qualification (financial support will be provided for this).
Requirements:
  • Significant experience of working within a similar setting and managing ofsted inspections.
  • Ideally hold a full UK driving license.

Schedule:
  • Full Time, Monday - Friday
