In our CFCs - together with the proprietary software applications - we operate a world-class online grocery business that automates the single pick of products, ready for your online delivery.About the roleWe are looking for a proactive, energetic and enthusiastic LGV Team Manager, to work day shift at our site in Erith, Kent. The LGV Team Manager will be responsible for managing the site operations in an efficient and professional manner ensuring all targetsare met without loss in performance to the business, across a varying shift pattern within the site management structure. You will oversee and organise shift operations, including fleet and facilities, and people management and will report into the SeniorTeam Manager and the Transport Manager. You will be responsible for effectively managing the LGV team thus ensuring all loads are completed timely and exceeding the customer expectations. You will ensure the smooth running of the site on shift and future shifts,and administration of all shift related paperwork. You will have the responsibility to run the shift in the absence of more senior management and to manage customer issues and communicate relevant changes to the team. You will also liaise with Resource PlanningDepartment to ensure there are sufficient and correct employee resources at all times, and being proactive with recruitment so that future employee needs are meet. You will also manage the Day to Day of the VI/marshalling team and ensure it effectively maintainsthe fleet and checking of vans / LGVs.
