Job Description

SEN LEARNING SUPPORT ASSISTANTAre you a primary school SEN LSA looking for a new roleDo you live within or around the Borough of Bexley and lower Kent or South or East LondonDo you have experience working with special needs childrenWould you like either a flexible part time or full-time roleJOB Info: Location: Bexley/Greenwichborough Position: SEN LSA/ SEN Teaching assistant Type: Supply Part/ Full time or Part time fixed contract 1 year START DATE: ASAP Salary - £90-105+ p/day depending on experienceRequirements:

  • Relevant childcare, supporting learning, supporting teaching qualifications or experience
  • Support SEN children withmild to complex needs in a widely resourced school with a specific curriculum
Deliver 1:2-5/ 1:1support in class and out of class to develop social and friendship skills or to support the teacher in whole class subject delivery. To support the behaviour and emotional development of students within lessons. Liaise with teachers and other staff about needs and progress of students receiving support. Meet with the Pastoral Manager/ Deputy Manager and/or SENCO to discuss progress and allocation of casework Guide and mentor students to that targeted, measurable and significant improvement in secured. Work in partnership with the SENCO to ensure regular high quality and frequent communication between the schools and the home so that parents are involved and students attitudes to learning is maximised.What we can offer you: 24/7 access to a personal consultant who is an expert in Education recruitment.
