A Biology Teacher is needed in a mixed Secondary School in South East London.If you are an ECT/NQT Biology Teacher, your induction can be supported.This Biology Teacher post will be full time and long term/permanent.You will be required to teach KS3 to KS4 lessons if appointed as a Biology Teacher.Standard class teacher responsibilities apply to this Biology Teacher role. These include but arent limited to; planning lessons, assessing pupil progress and attending team meetings/parents evenings.The rates of pay for this Biology Teacher position will be between £160 to £260 a day, depending on the qualifications and experiences of each applicant.The SchoolA Good mixed school in Bexley, with a wide range of excellent Sports facilities.There motto is Learning Changes Lives.The school is an all-through, with pupils for Reception through to Sixth Form on site.Sports & Health is the schools specialism, with a lot of importance placed on Physical, Mental and Social Wellbeing.Sports competitions at the school are a staple, with the main games being for Football, Badminton, Handball, Netball, Basketball and Cricket.Based on past exam results, the school has been placed in the top 18% of schools nationally.Four learning hubs form the foundation of the school - World Studies, Creative Voice, Active Science & Enterprise.The local community has also provided positive feedback towards the pupils, saying they are very well mannered and behaved.Good manners, strong discipline and smart appearance are at the core of the schools values. • UK QTS or an overseas equivalent
• Clear and up to date Enhanced DBS
• Experience of teaching as a Biology Teacher in UK schools
