Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for an Aftersales Manager to lead the aftersales team at our dealership in the Birmingham AreaWe are offering a competitive salary and car allowance plus various performance related bonus.With OTE we would envisage earnings of CIRCA £85,000.Key Purpose of the RoleIndependently managing and developing a customer-oriented and profitable workshop and spare parts business. This includes, in particular, optimally utilising the market, a high level of customer satisfaction and high yields for the department, as well asplanning, controlling and monitoring processes in customer service areas.You will:

  • Manage, coach and motivate employees and thus ensuring a high quality of employees
  • Monitor and optimise productivity and performance of employees
  • Ensure you have adequate headcount to deliver KPI and SLAs within the department
  • Compile and maintain a resource plan for the workshop, warehouse and develop concepts and measures for load optimisation
  • Plan and control service advertising, customer loyalty activities, customer surveys and other measures for monitoring customer satisfaction
  • Regularly review prices for workshop services and after prior agreement with the company management, adapting them to suit the market
  • Monitor Mercedes-Benz quality and service standards to ensure these are being met
  • Develop measures for ensuring and increasing customer satisfaction whilst identifying reasons for customer dissatisfaction
  • Have Operational/Financial focus
  • Identify areas of risk within area of responsibility and for developing and maintaining effective controls to reduce risk of fraud occurring.
  • Define market targets for workshops and the spare parts business within the framework of performance targets defined by Mercedes-Benz UK and, together with the company management, draw up a corresponding annual plan
  • Ensure planning for facilities, bays, machines, tools, diagnosis installations, etc. is carried out correctly, optimal design of workplaces and processes
  • Prepare, plan and conduct calculations for investments in workshops, facilities and people together with the company management
  • Customer focused and put the customer first always
You will have:
  • Have extensive Aftersales experience, preferably within a premium brand
