Senior Sister/ODP Scrub Practitioner - Band 7 - 37.5 hoursExciting news; we are expanding our theatre team at SWLEOC as funding has been approved for a state of the art 6th operating theatre.As a Centre of Excellence, we deliver 5200 operations a year, of which 3000 are joints, mainly hip and knee replacements. SWLEOC is recognised as the largest joint replacement centre in the UK, and one of the largest in Europe. Other sub-specialities include soft tissue/sports injuries, foot and ankle, shoulders and spines.You will have the opportunity to work alongside some of the regions most experienced orthopaedic consultants, covering a varied and diverse caseload. Anaesthetic nurse training is provided to all our staff as part dual initiative.Working with multi professional colleagues, you will have experience in working in an orthopaedic operating theatre and become a valued member of a core team.We encourage dual or multi skilled practitioners, however full training will be given to facilitate development.
