A fantastic opportunity has emerged for a Housing Assistant/Customer Service Advisor to join the housing department of one of Badenoch & Clarks leading Housing Association clients in Surrey. Based in Epsom, this is a full time permanent role (35 hours per week, Monday to Friday) and you will be expected to provide a measurable high quality customer services function, delivering day to day housing services to customers and key stakeholders. Key aspects of this role include: * Fully resolving customer queries specifically in relation to the Housing function, e.g. initial nuisance reports, garage lets and enquiries, sending customers requested information etc. * Resolving face to face enquiries with customers. * Managing the garage lettings and management functions and other allocated projects. * Managing and setting payment plans to address low level rent arrears. * Identifying vulnerability issues and sign posting to support services i.e. housing teams and external support services. * Assisting with the management of all digital enquiries through a centralised mailbox, ensuring a resolution is reached within agreed timescales. * Actively assisting in resolving issues to prevent and/or resolve complaints while providing excellent customer services. Please note, an excellent, evidenced customer care skills and a "people" focused approach to service delivery is required for this role. Candidates will ideally have strong generic housing knowledge and a sound understanding of vulnerability and support services.
