Job Description

Financial ControllerLocation: EpsomSalary: 65k - 70kHybrid WorkingPermanent RoleJob Summary:We are working with an Engineering company who are looking for a financial controller to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the financial operations of the company in the UK and will work closely with the head officeteam to ensure that the company’s financial goals are met.Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the financial operations of the company in the UK.
  • Managing a team of 7
  • Ensure that all financial reports are accurate and delivered on time.
  • Work closely with the head office team to ensure that the company’s financial goals are met.
  • Provide financial analysis and insight to support business performance and improvement.
  • Manage financial operations and services, including maintaining and improving financial systems and processes.
  • Provide financial advice and support to influence operational decision making.
  • Facilitate and challenge long-term planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Analyze and communicate financial data and reports.
  • Support commercial activity and enable the business to find solutions to address complex business queries.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Qualified accountant (ACCA / ACA or CIMA).
  • 5+ years of experience in a role such as financial controller, finance manager, or finance analyst.
  • Strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of business operations, financial modelling, and budget management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
