Job Title : Finance ManagerLocation : SurreySalary : 45k-50k (experience dependent)Job Type : Full Time, PermanentReporting to : Managing DirectorFinance Manager opportunity due to restructureImport & Export experience is a mustWhat will you be doingManage and motivate the department on a local level, as well as monitor and assist our overseas offices.Coordination of the financial departments function with other departments within the company to limit the companys exposure.Preparation and review of month-end accounts in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner. Produce a monthly Management Financial Pack for Senior Management to review.Take charge of the year-end close and assist with the annual audit process with the external audit.Oversee the Sales Ledger function, ensuring that all customer invoices issued for goods supplied are correct.Individual and collective debtor balance control for the businessMaintain credit insurance coverage for all qualified customers.Ensure that all vendor invoices are approved by the appropriate department.All vendor costs for materials supplied are accurately posted to the appropriate Purchase reference number. Ensure that data is submitted accurately to the company operating software and then transferred to the company accounting package. Oversee the PurchaseLedger function, including ensuring that all supplier invoices are correctly posted, managing open accrual records, and paying suppliers according to the agreed-upon terms.Forecasting cashflows based on internal information about future commitments.Responsibility for issuing company Debit Notes as needed and ensuring they are used whenever possible.It is your responsibility to keep track of and reconcile all of the companys bank accounts in all currencies.Provide the bank with quarterly accounts.Monthly PAYE and annual Class IA and Class 1B submissions must be settled by the due dates.Responsibility for the various VAT submissions: UK and international VAT positions. Each month, VAT submissions must be accurately reported to each country authority by the required deadline and fully reconciled back to the companys financial records, withsupporting VAT records filed in-house.Produce and report weekly KPIs at the weekly Management Meeting, as well as understand the impact of operational department actions on the companys financial position.
