ARE YOU A BAND 6 LOOKING FOR AN EXCITING CHALLENGE IN OUR COMMUNITY NEURO-REHAB TEAMIf so, come and join our highly skilled and supportive MDT!Ideally, you will have at least two years post-registration experience. Established skills in dysphagia management and acquired communication disorders are essential. You will have specialist knowledge and skills across a broad range of disorders and client groups including stroke, traumatic brain injury and progressive neurological conditions.The caseload comprises both swallowing and communication disorders currently delivered across a wide variety of settings, including community hospitals, client’s homes and outpatient clinics. We are also working remotely where possible in the current situation.You will liaise closely with colleagues in the acute hospital to facilitate safe discharge into the community and will work as part of a uni-disciplinary and multi-disciplinary community team (colleagues include neuropsychology, nurse specialists and a dietitian as well as occupational therapy and physiotherapy) to deliver an effective service, based at The Poplars clinic, Epsom. The MDT is forward thinking and committed to professional development and evidence based practice. This is demonstrated through regular departmental training sessions, monthly journal club, CPD opportunities and ongoing improvement of the service.Please call or email to find out more and/or to arrange a visit.
