Learn more at maximusuk.co.uk.Job SummaryWorking with the Business’ and closely with the Talent & Development Partner, you will be responsible for identifying operational training needs, creating & implementing learning content. You will be required to deliver performance improvement solutions to employees at all levels to ensure colleagues are sufficiently skilled and experienced to maximise performance.Key Duties

  • To assess individual, departmental and organisational learning and development needs within operations in order to produce effective training materials. To create training programmes that are aligned with the business’ objectives. Proactively working with Management at all levels to identify employee skills gaps and determine training needs
  • To deliver exceptional training, coaching, mentoring support to employees, through blended learning approaches to ensure we have sufficiently skilled and experienced staff to meet and exceed performance targets. Keep up to date with performance improvements methods and approaches and update senior management and the central Talent & Development team on latest thinking
  • Work with the Operations Management team to ensure that line managers have for all employees a development plan with clear objectives in order to achieve individual targets. Carry out necessary compliance checks with Line Managers on all learning and development plans
  • Working with line managers to conduct effective employee performance observations and provide follow-up support. Work closely with employees to evaluate what has been learned and impact on performance. Proactively support Management team to address and overcome negative behaviours to enhance performance
  • Working with the T&D Partner to evaluate success of learning interventions and their impact, reporting this feedback to all stakeholders. Analyse and implement suggestions for continuous improvement
  • To work with the Operations Management Team to support with facilitation of the New Starter Induction Process and Contract Specific Induction Process to ensure all new starters receive required training
  • To undertake administration related to the talent and development function, including HR systems, Learning Management Systems for employee training records. To organise and coordinate venues for training and manage attendee bookings
  • What we are looking for
  • Strong operational background combined with proven knowledge and understanding of progressive performance improvement approaches delivered on an individual, team or contract level
  • Proven coach to deliver performance improvement
  • Confident and competent in building and maintaining relationships with employees at all levels, with active listening and motivational skills
  • Presentation skills, diplomacy and the ability to influence senior management
  • Strong leadership and championing of development in a performance focussed environment
  • Able to plan and organise training and coaching to meet the demands of the business
  • Able to prioritise and problem solve with minimal support; work in a flexible manner; being visionary, promoting improvements and sharing best practice that supports business efficiency
  • Possess excellent communication skills to be competent to speak/present/deliver training to large groups of employees; speak interpersonally with individuals and report feedback to management
  • Strong administration and organisational skills
  • Hold a qualification in learning delivery or Coaching is desirablE
  • Prior experience of working in a similar role is desirable
  • Professionally qualified in Employability Services Sector is desirable
