Learn more at maximusuk.co.uk.Job SummaryThe role is to provide procurement support within a specific portfolio of spend to ensure that our procurement is compliant and stakeholder friendly and provides value for money. You will follow effective supply processes & policy to perform procurement tasks for the business.Key Duties

  • Responding to queries from suppliers and stakeholders
  • Working with the Supply Chain and Procurement team to check and input purchase orders in SAP considering procurement policy and process
  • Liaise with suppliers to ask for ad-hoc pricing, delivery lead-times and other information to enable on-boarding of supplier and due-diligence
  • For low value / risk spend, request quotes from suppliers to present to team members and stakeholders
  • Undertake basic supplier due diligence and annual supplier compliance checks
  • Work closely with bid teams on supporting by communication supplier and administrating the bidding process by collating and organising documents and meetings
  • Provide advice to colleague on the procurement policy and process to help them have good customer experience
  • Liaise with stakeholders and colleagues to provide information on contracts and pricing and respond in a timely manner
  • Assist in the collation of information and data relating to the performance of the team, such as cost savings
  • Support the team with ad-hoc administration, updating contracts registers, compiling spreadsheets with data and information
  • Contribute to the supply chain & procurement function providing thoughts and ideas on continuous improvement
    • What we are looking for
  • You will have purchasing experience or customer service / stakeholder experience.
  • Experience of working with other organisations / suppliers
  • Experience of Working with MS Office with an ability to compile and update spreadsheets and various systems
  • Strong Communication skills
  • Strong Organisational skills
  • Previous use of finance systems such as SAP
  • Basic Understanding of procurement
